This is it! This issue was a way for local cartoonist/illustrator to repack his comic strip The Aging Disease. It also contained Sux Me Eggs by Duane Ballenger with a cartooning venture from musical master Mike Gowen of the rock group Lowbot. It also features the very first appearance of J Chris Campbell's Little Fat Pig Thing. This issue was limited to a print run of only 100 and each was hand numbered. Now sold out, this was the issue that expanded the scope of what Wide Awake would become. 28 pages built by a team of 9 artists and writers wrapped in a cover by Mr. Duane himself. Dare we say, Sexy. Yes?

36 pages of pure visual joy that Includes more than a dozen artist, cartoonist, writers and designers. Emblazened with a replica of the shroud of Lincoln. Goes nicely with a tall glass of milk and some saltin crackers. My old boss used his for a classy paperweight. We are of the opinion that you will like it a great deal.
